Save-On-Foods is hiring an Assistant Department Manager, Meat, at its Willoughby location. You will assist with leading team members as a coach, mentor, and resource. The position focuses on training, performance management, communication, inventory counts, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with leading and developing department team members
- Foster Always Customer First service and a positive environment
- Communicate important messages throughout the team
- Count correct stock amounts for the department
- Develop strategies using community and industry knowledge
- Food Safe Certification
- Previous retail or customer service experience considered an asset
- Passion for great food and outstanding customer service
- Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude
- Open availability for 40 hours per week
