Empower justice services for Tl’azt’en Nation as a Community Justice Coordinator. Engage in developing community programs focused on crime prevention and restorative practices.
Tl’azt’en Nation Social Development is on the lookout for a qualified and dedicated Community Justice Coordinator. With at least two years in community justice, you will facilitate effective programming, work collaboratively with various partners, and oversee essential workshops. This role emphasizes communication while guiding initiatives that benefit the community’s justice framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive crime prevention and justice initiatives collaboratively
• Maintain relationships with external agencies like RCMP
• Organize and conduct community workshops on justice topics
• Supervise case management for individuals within the system
• Prepare reports for community and departmental leadership
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years relevant community justice experience
• Diploma or Certificate in Social Service or Criminal Justice
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
