This position is temporary until August 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension and requires Union membership. Reporting to the Youth and Family Coordinator, you will assist youth in crisis and enhance family functioning through education and support. Your responsibilities will include problem-solving and navigating community resources relevant to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver targeted support services to youth and families
• Assess client's needs through interviews and observations
• Empower parents with best practices in parenting
• Collaborate in Integrated Case Management team meetings
• Facilitate connections with community resources and services
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in human or social services discipline
• One year related experience preferred
• Current First Aid Certification required
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
