Your role will be crucial in providing support to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting.
This on-call position involves working with clients facing various challenges, offering help in achieving a high quality of life. Candidates must be available for a minimum of one shift weekly, six statutory holidays per year, and one weekend monthly. Passion for community support and understanding of mental health is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop meaningful relationships with individuals
• Coach clients on daily living skills
• Document daily activities and outcomes
• Liaise with stakeholders for support
• Follow all safety and policy regulations
Requirements:
• Understanding of mental health issues
• Capable of participating in community activities
• High emotional intelligence and empathy
• Initiative in tasks and responsibilities
• Clear criminal record check and driver's license
