The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a self-directed, engaging, empathetic Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Program Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Programs Manager, the program coordinator oversees the day-to-day coordination of administrative and operation of the Integrated Youth Services programs through effective and efficient planning, implementation and development. Supervises program staff.

Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
In consultation with the Manager, develops implements, coordinates and evaluates designed plans and programs to ensure that client needs are met, meets licensing requirements, and adheres to Encompass policies, program guidelines and agency strategic goals.
Provides direct leadership and supervision through assigning, scheduling and delegating work, providing feedback on performance, and conducting performance evaluations.
Provides support to program staff through coaching, determining and providing training through best practice and approaches and developing staff through professional development goals.
Collects, monitors, and maintains accurate program statistics and client records. Prepares reports as required.
Liaises with community service providers and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals to the program and represent the organization or program in external events.
Participates in committees and coordinates assigned community events to support community needs, promote public awareness of programs and enhance the visibility of the organization.
Performs administrative functions: collecting and coding employee timesheets and expenses, coordination and monitoring of vacation requests, organizes, develops, and participates in team meetings, orders and purchases program or office supplies, and ensures office location is clean and maintained.
Performs frontline work such as client registration and referrals, waitlist management, supportive advice, post-program client follow up and group facilitation.
Monitors program expenditures and maintains financial records in accordance with established procedures. Assists in preparing program budgets and reports with supervisor.
Participates in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new program staff by performing duties such as screening applicants, participating on interview panels, making hiring recommendations and coordinating and implementing orientation sessions.
Assists in formulating and putting into practice program policies and procedures.
Qualifications
1. Education and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in human/social services field
2. Training and Experience
Three (3) years recent related experience including 1 year supervisory.
Experience with multi-disciplinary health care teams and primary care an asset;
Understanding of and passion for supporting youth and their families;
Genuine commitment to service integration and improving service experiences for youth and their families;
Experience with developing policies and procedures, designing and delivering programs a significant asset;
