Shipper and Receiver

Peterbilt Pacific is currently seeking a Shipper and Receiver for a temporary contract to cover a leave of absence.

Shipper and Receiver ships, receives and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from an establishment.

• Loading and unloading goods from carriers and vendors.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and damaged goods.
• Report shortages and damages to Parts Manager immediately.
• Pull and package orders to ship out in assigned shipping methods.
• Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems.
• Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Verify all packing slips with parts pulled to ensure product and quantities being shipped are correct.
• Pick‑up and deliver parts as required.
• Assemble, check and ship returns.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

• 2+ years warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract required.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Experience strapping loads for secure transport.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Robust personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management, and setting priorities.
• Effective problem solving and negotiating skills.
• Effective conflict resolution skills.

Rate $20.27 – $24.77 per hour. Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level.
