Metrie is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Langley, British Columbia. This position is integral to our operations, focusing on packing and shipping building materials efficiently.
As a Warehouse Associate at Metrie, you’ll become part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in interior finishing materials. Your key duties will involve safely lifting heavy bundles, following operational procedures, and ensuring the cleanliness of your work area. This position will require strong attention to detail and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pack and ship mouldings and doors thoughtfully
• Accurately read and execute pick lists
• Lift and move bundles weighing up to 49 lbs
• Utilize machinery as necessary for operations
• Maintain a clean workspace for safety
Requirements:
• Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Reliable transit or personal transportation required
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Commitment to safe and timely work practices
