- Senior-level estimating experience within commercial construction, preferably in waterproofing, building restoration, concrete repair, façade restoration, roofing, or related specialty trades.
- Typically 7+ years of progressive estimating experience, including independently managing complex or high-value commercial projects.
- Advanced knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, labor productivity, material pricing, subcontractor management, and proposal development.
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive estimates, evaluate project risks, and implement competitive pricing strategies.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, cost control, and operational requirements.
- Experience leading bid reviews, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting project handoffs.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing bid opportunities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and other construction management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
