This PRN School Nurse position will split time between our Sheppard Pratt School locations in Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Lanham.

What to expect.

You will promote the health and well-being of our students, ensuring they have access to quality medical care and support through their educational journey.
You will provide comprehensive nursing care to students with various medical needs
, including but not limited to medication, administration wound care, and first aid.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with caregivers to
  provide medical treatment
  as indicated by student’s health needs and history.
• Supporting the school psychiatrist in
  medication management
  .
• Maintaining cumulative and
  comprehensive documentation
  for each student’s health record.

The pay range for this position is $29.99 minimum to $47.88 maximum
. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Possession of a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Maryland:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 1 year of working experience in a school setting preferred.
