Retail Sales Associate

As part of the Produce team, you'll work with others to educate our customers and ensure the freshest fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day. • Provide incredible service to our customers, helping them locate what they need
• Keep our shelves and displays stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables
• Trim, package, and rotate product as necessary to maintain appearance and quality
• May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory

• Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Experience working on a farm.
• Work Environment:
  The physical demands of this work are classified as medium to heavy. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
• The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available.
• Upper extremity repetition is moderate to moderately high and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting.
• May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).
• The work environment is indoors with exposure to cold (33 – 55 degrees) temperatures and wet conditions.
• Basic tools and equipment used include box cutter, u-cart, hand/power jack, compactor, baler, knives, packaging supplies, and food processing equipment.
