Position Summary
CAES by Honeywell in Lansdale, PA is looking for a Production Test Technician. In this role you will work with advanced electronic systems, validate their performance and durability, and ensure every unit meets the highest reliability and quality standards. The position will transition to a weekend shift after training and offers a 15% shift differential for 4th‑shift work.
Responsibilities- Engineer precision by developing test specifications, methods, and procedures from technical drawings, standard work, and detailed diagrams.
- Be the voice of insight by assisting in technical reports that summarize findings and recommend actionable solutions to complex challenges.
- Keep performance sharp by calibrating, improving, and maintaining advanced test equipment used in mission‑critical validation.
- Lead with impact by guiding a small team of technicians within your functional area, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Stay mission‑ready by maintaining required certifications that keep you at the forefront of aerospace and defense standards.
- Shape the workspace by recommending bold, forward‑thinking 6S improvements that drive efficiency and innovation.
- Willing to work weekend shift.
- Minimum 1 year of RF test technician experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent electronics experience with a strong understanding of AC/DC theory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, timekeeping system, ERP system, routing, etc.).
- Detail‑oriented with good manual and eye dexterity (precise).
- Must be a US person or eligible for US export license approval to access technology, materials, software, or hardware controlled by US export laws.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- 2+ years of RF test technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to set up and operate a Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
- Associate or technical degree in Electrical Technology.
- Marine or military electronic training.
- Active security clearance.
- Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and new challenges.
- Willingness to take on diverse projects and collaborate with different teams.
Technician – Test – Level 2: $22.54 per hour to $33.81 per hour. Pay may vary by location, job function, education, and experience.
