Schedule/Calendar: 7.5 hours/day 37.5 hours/week 191 days/year
SummaryThe Behavioral Analyst guides behavior change for students based on knowledge of behavioral theory, analysis, and evidence-based practices, and actively collaborates with school teams.
Essential Functions- Conducts functional behavior assessments and supports development of positive behavior support plans
- Consults the multidisciplinary team in the development of behavioral plans, professional learning or behavioral principles
- Intervenes in crisis situations
- Provides professional development on behavior and crisis techniques to staff, including verbal de-escalation and physical restraint
- Ability to travel between buildings
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree
- BCBA certification
- 3-5 years’ experience in behavioral field
- Data collection
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to collaborate with a team, work under strict timelines, and prioritize tasks
- Crisis intervention skills
