Senior ITS Engineer – Lansdale/Camp Hill

Job Description

Drive Engineering Corp. is currently seeking a highly-motivated and independent Senior ITS Engineer with 10+ years of experience performing varying tasks related to ITS and Tolling design, plan development, plan review, specification writing, and technical report writing. Primary job responsibilities will include plan development, plan reviews, design calculations, field surveys, technical writing, and construction services related to various aspects of ITS and Tolling.

Full time (40 hours/week) with OT eligibility; PTO and benefits.

Requirements

• BS or MS Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• PE License required
• NCEES Record preferred
• ITS, tolling, fiber optic communications network, electrical wiring, and construction staging experience required
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Experience with GDOT ITS and Tolling standards
• Familiarity with PennDOT/PANYNJ/VDOT standards, MUTCD, and AASHTO guidelines
• General experience in Mid Atlantic DOTs and/or Tolling Agencies
• Experience with AutoCAD and Micro Station
• Ability to travel to project meetings/field views (Mid-Atlantic Region)

Our staff is experienced in all project aspects from the early planning stages to the project completion, including PS&E development and construction design services for both design-bid-build and design-build projects. We have planning, design, review, and construction inspection experience in large scale ITS and Traffic Signal deployments.

Key clients include PennDOT, PA Turnpike, PANYNJ, DelDOT, NJDOT, NYSDOT, MDOT, VDOT, and several local and national engineering firms, as well as ITS/Tolling integrators.

Salary

$70 per hour to start, flexibility on rate commensurate with experience.

Travel

5-10% (10% would be on the high side).

Schedule

Monday to Friday.

Education

Must hold a Bachelor's degree (mandatory).

Experience

10+ years (mandatory).
