Food Service Associate (Per Diem) – 16 hours biweekly – Jefferson Abington

Responsibilities- Participates in the preparation, assembly, and delivery of meals and food items for patients, hospital staff, and visitors.
- Participates in providing nutritional care to patients.
- Practices proper food handling techniques and maintains an appropriate level of sanitation in the department.

Qualifications- Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food service experience is not required, but is preferred.
- Interpersonal communication skills are required.
- All employees must have 5 days of availability, and work 3 out of 4 weekends a month.
- Holiday rotation is required.
