Job Summary
We are looking for a line cook to run the meat station and/or fry station for our fast-casual barbecue restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and smoking the meats and fried foods on our menu. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional product. Adhering to our standards is a top priority.
Duties and Responsibilities
Make sure your station is thoroughly prepped at the beginning and end of your shift
Learn our standards for presentation and adhere to them
Demonstrate exceptional communication
Make sure you have adequate back up of preps prior to a lunch/dinner rush
Follow all food safety regulations
Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role is required
Serve Safe or Food Handler’s Certification
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 100 pounds.
