Base Pay Range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stockroom are ready.
  • Handle product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Maintain and hold store keys for opening and closing as needed.
  • Assist and coach team members with the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
  • Register all sales on the assigned cash register, record scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
  • Review order exceptions on order release day and assist with reverse logistics (e.g., 1506, returns, empty package).
  • Evaluate and develop displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts for all departments and stockroom locations.
  • Assist with ensuring the Outdate program is followed and with food separation and placement policies.
  • Perform basic department pricing and daily price changes; ensure signage supports accurate pricing and complies with local regulations.
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities: cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments as requested.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly store condition, requesting repairs as needed.
  • Assist at the pharmacy window as requested and ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products.
  • Conduct bag checks of team members before they leave the store.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
  • We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state (preferred).
