Overview
Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service. They process Checkout and/or Return transactions, monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area, and proactively seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies and procedures to ensure that shrink is minimized.
Responsibilities- Process Checkout and/or Return transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area and assist customers as needed.
- Provide information to customers and identify selling opportunities based on product knowledge.
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Support and assist in training and coaching other Front End Associates as directed by supervision.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
