Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. The Shift Supervisor leads store staff when there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, ensures smooth store operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Manage and supervise store crew, assigning tasks and following up
  • Effectively communicate information between store management and crew
  • Provide excellent customer service: greet, help, respond to questions, problems, complaints, and promote a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
  • Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
  • Reset departments following POGs and maintain off‑shelf merchandise
Required Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills
  • Advanced communication and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a retail supervisor
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Pay Range: $16.50 – $24.00 per hour (actual base salary depends on experience, education, geography and other factors).
