In this role you will perform a variety of duties to inspect, plan, layout, and repair equipment and machinery and facilities. You will also install or relocate Machinery and equipment.

It is a Jack of all trades type role, they have electricians and this position focuses on the mechanical side, so you will work on anything from motors, pumps, furnaces, tanks and work processing stations, to doing carpentry and masonry work.

You will work from maintenance request and/or verbal instructions from Supervisor, using knowledge of mechanical theory and applications and familiarity with all company machinery and equipment, including mobile equipment. You must be able to evaluate these and interpret drawings and sketches applicable to assignment and determine action to be taken, and tools and materiel required to complete the task.

At times you may be required to perform piping and plumbing work on various machinery and facilities, as well as carpentry and masonry work for new construction or repairs to walls, foundations and floors.

MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS - both hand and power

• Report any malfunctions, or damaged tools/equipment to supervisor promptly
• Keep all work areas, tools, and equipment clean and orderly
• Follow all safety rules and use required safety gear
• Instruct and assist helpers and others assigned to project
• Cross train to learn other jobs
• Perform other duties assigned
