Overview
Lehigh Valley, a DFA Dairy Brands Company in Lansdale, PA is seeking Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of Tractors, Refrigerated Trailers, and Refrigerated Trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles and transport refrigeration vehicles.
- Routine maintenance, oil changes, electrical services, and lubrication.
- Assist with addressing pending vehicle repairs.
- Maintain equipment to desired performance levels.
- Accurately record time, parts, and PM inspection checklists.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all fleet vehicles including refrigeration units.
- Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance services.
- Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or faulty parts. Install and adjust new and repaired parts. Including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, differentials, drive lines, suspensions, lighting systems, DEF systems, exhaust systems.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
- Earn annual salary of up to $85,000 including overtime.
- Possible hourly premium for certification including state inspection, Class A CDL and refrigeration certificate.
- This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of $5,000 paid in three installments during the first year of employment: $1,250 after 3 months, $1,250 after 6 months, and $2,500 after completing one year of employment.
Tuesday–Saturday.

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach and crawl and possibly sit for virtually the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others.
- Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment, with moderate noise and cold and hot temperature ranges.
- Must be able to follow all required work safe practices.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty vehicles.
