Your Role as a Garage Door Technician:

As a key member of our field team, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing residential garage doors and openers.
• Installing new garage doors and openers from various brands such as Lift Master and Hormann
• Performing preventative maintenance checks to ensure long-term functionality and safety of garage door operations
• Communicating effectively with customers, explaining diagnoses, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Providing accurate estimates and collecting payment upon job completion.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Completing work orders and required documentation accurately and promptly on the company provided tablet.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 1 to 4 years of verifiable experience as a garage door technician, including installation and repair.
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to garage door systems. Familiarity with various brands and models is a plus.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), work comfortably on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Customer Focus: Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent communication/customer service skills.
• Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Tools: Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the trade.
• CRM:Experience with Service Titan is a huge plus
