Job Description:
Are you handy with tools and have a knack for sales? Do you like the freedom and flexibility of being on the road and not behind a desk? We're looking for an enthusiastic Garage Door Technician to join our team at Pro Lift Garage Doors of Lansdale. No prior garage door experience needed – we offer on-the-job training for the right candidate!

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Repair: Learn to install and repair various types of garage doors under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Customer Service: Engage with customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
• Sales: Leverage your sales experience to offer additional services or products that benefit our customers, contributing to your commission earnings.

What You'll Do:

• Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers (training provided).
• Deliver outstanding customer service, educating customers about products and services.
• Identify and recommend additional products or services to enhance the customer’s experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance.
• Use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Qualifications:

• Handiness: Must be comfortable with basic tools and have some experience in manual labor or similar fields.
• Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or similar roles where you've had to persuade or convince customers.
• Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and solve problems efficiently.
• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record as you might need to travel to job sites.
