Title Insurance Processor

TrustPoint Title, an Investors Title Insurance Company Managed Agency, is looking for a Title Insurance Processor to join the team in Lansing. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our new agency running efficiently by handling clerical tasks, assisting clients, and supporting key office functions. What You’ll Do:

Administrative Support
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
  • Greet and assist all visitors, including realtors, loan officers, buyers, and sellers.
  • Monitor and triage the agency’s general email inbox.
  • Provide order updates to closers and underwriters.
  • File and organize documents for daily transactions.
Order Processing & Tracking
  • Enter orders into the production system, request title searches and scan accompanying documentation.
  • Process change requests for policies, such as amount adjustments.
  • Order tax certs, special assessments, HOA docs, and Municipal certs as needed.
  • Request payoff information and send and receive authorization forms.
  • Track progress and updates in the production system.
Search Order Management
  • Verify order data and submit requests to searchers.
  • Monitor pending orders, log search results, and follow up on late searches.
  • Order verbal search updates as requested and communicate findings to lenders.
  • Track and log final updates and follow up on outstanding reports.
