Overview
This is a part-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant based in Lansing, MI. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing legal documents, providing administrative assistance, and supporting attorneys in their daily tasks. Key duties include drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing communications, organizing files, and scheduling appointments. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Prepare and draft legal documents; review and edit documents as needed.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and the legal team.
- Manage communications, calendar, and scheduling.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Assist with daily tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Knowledge in Law and Legal Document Preparation
- Experience in Administrative Assistance and Legal Assistants
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Previous experience in a legal setting is a plus
