Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience estimating and managing heavy industrial or commercial piping projects.
- Strong understanding of piping construction principles, system installation, and mechanical design.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining profitability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Quote Soft (or similar project management tools).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between clients, field teams, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving history.
- Ability to travel to project sites and maintain consistent attendance to meet project deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with Design/Build construction teams.
- Familiarity with estimating processes, permit acquisition, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong financial acumen for budget development, cost tracking, and invoicing.
- Leadership experience in team development, vendor management, and subcontractor coordination.
- Collaborate with heavy industrial and piping customers to estimate, plan, and execute construction and maintenance projects.
- Prepare and submit project bids using approved design specifications; follow up on proposals and secure project commitments.
- Establish project budgets, schedules, and execution plans in alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
- Obtain all necessary permits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct routine site visits to evaluate progress, ensure safety standards, and verify adherence to design and quality requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Issue purchase orders (POs), oversee labor hours and expenses, and manage invoicing and receivables.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams, providing regular project updates.
- Track and document project productivity and performance for continuous improvement.
- Oversee project close‑out activities, including punch list completion and final documentation.
