• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Start Date: January 1, 2026
• End Date: April 2, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts (varied start times: 6am-4pm, 10am-8pm, 12pm-10pm, 4pm-2am, 8pm-6am weekdays; 6am-4pm, 10am-8pm, 4pm-2am, 8pm-6am weekends)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $9,330 - $10,000
• Annual ER Volume: 40,000
• Number of Beds: 42
• Patients per Day: Approx. 110
• Staff Support: Full nursing staff, 12 hours of APP (Advanced Practice Provider) coverage daily
• Current EHR: Cerner

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM required)
• Active Michigan medical license (required for Michigan physician jobs)
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Clean background for expedited credentialing
• Must be local to Michigan

• Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and residents in the emergency department
• Perform a wide range of emergency procedures: central and arterial line placement, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, suturing, incision and drainage, ventilation management, and newborn resuscitation
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams for patient admissions and care coordination
• Participate in fast track care for lower acuity emergency patients
