Clinical Details
• Emergency medicine coverage in a high-volume community emergency department
• Supervision of advanced practice providers and residents
• Evaluation and management of adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Fast track and main ED coverage as assigned
• Procedural scope includes airway management and ventilation
• Central and arterial line placement
• EKG interpretation
• Orthopedic care including non-displaced fractures
• Minor laceration repair and incision and drainage
• Psychiatric evaluations for uncomplicated cases
• Arthrocentesis
• Lumbar puncture
• Paracentesis
• Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
Requirements
• Board Certification ABEM or AOBEM certified only
• State License Active Michigan medical license required
• BLS required
• Local provider required
• Emergency medicine experience strongly preferred
• Clean history
