Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of Youth for Christ, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found and help them become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.

The Campus Life Middle School Coordinator will build and lead student leader and adult leader teams equipping a relational army to engage in authentic, Christ-sharing relationships with students in specific schools.

The Coordinator will lead a ministry site while supervising the development of other sites.

Typical weekly ministry duties include a mix of these Relationship Ministry Actions (RMA’s):

CONTACTING - going into the teenage world to initiate new relationships.

BUILDING TIMES - spending time with students to build new relationships and grow existing ones.

CLUB - meeting with a large group of kids in a safe, high-energy, non-Christian-friendly setting to talk about relevant topics and connect them to God’s truth.

APPOINTMENTS - meeting with kids to focus on their individual needs.

SMALL GROUPS - meeting with several students to have an interactive discussion about relevant topics and connect them to truth.

We seek a strong leader who can connect with students, parents, school administrators, business leaders, and churches. The candidate must be a self-starter with a passion for discipleship evangelism who wants to be part of an excellent growing team of youth ministry professionals. All staff will be trained and assisted in personal financial support raising to partially fund their position. Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits (vacation, health, and retirement) package offered.

YFC is flexible in the number of hours this position will be dependent on the best candidate to do the ministry (in other words, this is a full-time listing, but we would be open to a candidate that prefers 20, or 30 hours per week as well).

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Degree Preferred or 5 years of ministry experience.
