Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

• Design, develop, and modify manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing of new tooling.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling failures.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans for production tooling.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to optimize tooling performance and manufacturability.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for tooling components.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling life, efficiency, and quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing, or maintenance within a production environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tooling design and simulation.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, EDM, and grinding.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and metrology techniques.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex tooling issues and implement effective corrective actions.

• Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling.
• Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software for tool design validation.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Knowledge of advanced materials science for high‑performance tooling.
