Jr. Field Service Engineer – Waygate Technologies

Partner with the bestAs a Jr. Field Service Engineer you will provide services that will range in scope from performing standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment:
Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X‑ray testing machine hardware and software products at Waygate and customer locations. Travel is expected in excess of 70%.
- Maintain, repair and install industrial x‑ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment such as X‑ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high‑voltage control circuits, motion control and high‑end PCs.
- Provide customers with technical support via phone and onsite service.
- Prepare timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages and other administrative requirements.
- Ensure driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards.
- Monitor site safety during work scope execution.
- Possess a two‑year technical degree (AEET, AMET) and at least four years of previous experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment OR possess a four‑year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation (verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record, educational background).
- Be able to travel up to 70% of the time for work.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and passport (or be able to obtain a passport).
- Must currently hold valid US citizenship status.
- 70% or more travel. You will be paid for travel time as well as overtime if more than 8 hours are worked a day. Travel costs will also be paid.
- Must live within drivable distance to an airport.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $57,100.00 – $.
Eligible for Company‑sponsored benefit programs including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k) with options to suit your needs.
This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package and additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
