Location: Lansing, MI (position available in MSG offices in Michigan or Ohio)

Position: Structural Detailer

• Develop detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD and Open Roads Designer (Micro Station)
• Translate engineering designs into precise, buildable plans for construction teams
• Assist engineers in bridge and culvert projects, ensuring plans meet MDOT and client requirements
• Maintain organized documentation and track revisions to ensure project accuracy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting transportation engineers and designers

• 4+ years of experience as a structural detailer or CAD drafter in transportation/structural projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Open Roads ORD (Micro Station)
• Experience in bridge and culvert design documentation
• Familiarity with MDOT or MDOT LAP standards
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and other team members
