Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Analyze quality data, trends, and metrics to identify areas for improvement and report performance.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality into new product development and process improvements.
- Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field and 3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in core quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques and software (e.g., Minitab) for process monitoring and improvement.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB).
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience with relevant industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems for quality data management.
