The Chiller System Engineer - Project Manager manages assigned jobs for primarily custom-built chiller and heat transfer systems. They work as a direct link between sales, production and the customer to ensure systems are being quoted, designed and built to our standards, while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads design meetings with customers, OEMs and with other engineering disciplines on custom projects.
- Engineering mechanical refrigeration and pumping systems based on provided specifications.
- Specifying components and developing BOMs for mechanical refrigeration systems.
- Producing engineering drawings such as P&IDs, plumbing layouts and general arrangements for customer submittal packages.
- Works directly with customers and contractors regarding design approvals, engineering changes, and overall status of production on custom and standard products.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC, or similar field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience
- Auto Cad and/or Solid Works
