Venteon is looking for a Financial Analyst for an automotive manufacturing client located in the greater Lansing area. The Financial Analyst will play a strategic role in supporting senior leadership and driving financial performance, shaping the company’s financial strategies and long‑term objectives.
Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Primary Purpose of PositionTo provide financial support and advice to the Plant Controller, Plant General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Plant Teams, as required.
Major Responsibilities of Position- Reporting: Responsible for analysis & reporting related to above responsibilities. Prepare financial statements, schedules & government reports. Responsible for all cash forecasting activities, budgets, and reporting.
- Communication: Internal / External Contacts:
Liaison with internal/external employees, managers, auditors (and completing their requests), outside customers, corporate officers, other companies, and government officials. Facilitate communication, change, and progress. - Accounting functions: Assist in management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger systems, prioritizing activities to ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks necessary to fulfill team and company goals. Capital tracking, fixed assets, cash management & system management are all responsibilities for this position.
- Banking: Balance all intercompany transactions and prepare monthly account and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly journals and supporting schedules.
- ERP: Enter all new accounting jobs in ERP system.
- Lean: Responsible for assisting the Lean/CI teams.
- Goal Setting: Prioritizing activities to ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks necessary to fulfill team and company goals.
- Training: Ensure that adequate training (accounting systems & policies) and tools to complete the job are provided.
- Other responsibilities as required, including special projects as they arise.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with all areas of the company.
