This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lansing, MI, for a Care Worker. The Care Worker will provide daily support and care for residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks, helping with meal preparation, managing and administering medications as needed, organizing and participating in social activities, and providing transportation and mobility assistance. Building trusting relationships with clients while maintaining their dignity and respect is a core aspect of this role.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Personal Care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills for tasks like Medication Management and Food Preparation.
• Ability to engage residents in Social Activities and facilitate Transportation assistance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful interactions with residents, their families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature, dependability, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.
• Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in caregiving is a plus.
• Certifications such as CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or First Aid and CPR training are advantageous.
