Weekend Hotel Night Auditor (Friday and Saturday 11pm‑7am) – Hyatt Place Lansing, East

Salary: $50,000 – $110,000 per year.

Location:

Lansing, MI.

• Performs the manager‑on‑duty role during the third shift.
• Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
• Processes check‑ins and check‑outs, verifies billing, creates reservations, and handles special requests.
• Assists guests with knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
• Works independently or in a team to meet guests' needs, and contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary.
• Understands and follows the CSM guest service recovery program.
• Accurately balances all revenue sources and completes daily financial reports.
• Processes no‑show reservations and prepares financial reports for managerial review.
• Closes the financial day for the hotel.
• Follows proper selling techniques and uses strategies to maximize room revenues.
• Monitors room availability, follows restrictions, and enforces all booking policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and maximizes revenue by up‑selling rooms and amenities.
• Applies CSM procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions.
• Ensures proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work duties to achieve the required volume of work.
• After completing financial tasks, works on assigned additional projects, stocks supplies, and assists other overnight staff as needed.
• Attends all required department and hotel meetings and adheres to CSM general work rules and department procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with CSM, brand, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Follows all CSM procedures for guest/associate incidents and is knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.

• 2+ years of prior guest service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Previous night audit or accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent computer knowledge and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, customer focused, and ability to perform duties in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
