Room Attendant – Lansing, MI
Island Hospitality Management invites you to apply for the Room Attendant position.
Responsibilities- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, re‑arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging the room after guests check out.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for according to brand and IHM standards.
- Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances.
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and a desire for achievement.
- Effectively handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Ability to work well in stressful situations.
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.
The employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for extended periods, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The variable weekly hours are based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors, and Island Hospitality cannot guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
