The Role:Benefits Manager
As Benefits Manager, you’ll lead the strategy, development, and execution of best‑in‑class employee benefits programs that deliver value to the company versus the traditional insurance marketplace. With an entrepreneurial mindset and an outside the box perspective, you will research, network, and align with partners and vendors that aid in the creation of unique benefit delivery solutions, while keeping a keen eye on employee experience.
From healthcare and financial plans to wellness initiatives, you’ll design solutions that help employees thrive at work and at home.
- Leading all strategy, development, and execution of employee benefits, including healthcare, 401(k), PTO, and educational programs.
- Identifying innovative approaches to medical and pharmacy benefits beyond traditional carrier models.
- Analyzing data and trends to inform actions that improve financial and wellbeing outcomes.
- Overseeing implementation and enrollment of benefit programs, ensuring accuracy and resolving issues.
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborating with HR team members to ensure alignment across programs and services.
- 10+ years of experience working with employee benefit programs.
- Prior experience working for insurance brokers and/or carriers is highly desired.
- Deep knowledge of traditional procurement and delivery of benefits and healthcare services.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop creative solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with HR and benefit systems a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
