The Programmer Analyst 6 – Full Stack Developer will play a key role in modernizing the legacy IT applications used by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB). These applications support compliance, security, registration, and responsible gaming management across the state. The modernization effort aims to replace end-of-life systems with modern, scalable technologies
, ensuring operational reliability and long-term support for critical state functions.
- Design, develop, and deploy robust full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-ready architectures.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, Dev Ops engineers, testers, and business analysts to deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.
- Ensure clean code, consistent architecture, and adherence to state development standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies
, sprint planning, code reviews, and Dev Ops deployment cycles. - Contribute to documentation, testing, and release management for production-ready systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
. - 3+ years of experience with .NET C# development
. - 3+ years of SQL Server experience
, including stored procedures and performance optimization.
Experience:
- Experience developing within government or regulated environments
. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
, automated testing, and code quality practices.
