Senior SQL DBA W2​/C2C

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and sustainment of the SQL Server, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing deployments, and performing all maintenance in support of multiple development teams. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Working with IT and Engineering teams to maintain on-premises SQL Server instances as well as those in the public cloud (IaaS/PaaS on AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Establishing best practices for monitoring/health, performance, high-availability, caching, etc.; and collaborating with teams to ensure that these best practices are applied
• Providing expertise on understanding and implementing advanced SQL Server features, such as Always On Availability Groups, read replicas, encryption, RLS, etc.
• Experience with current on-premises versions of SQL Server (2012, 2014, 2016) is a must.
