Job Title: Sr. IBM MDM Developer
Position Type: Contract
Location: Lansing, MI, Hybrid-(2 days Onsite in a week)

The role serves as a technical lead, providing application oversight, coordinating with business analysts and integration teams, and ensuring system stability, data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance (SEM/SUITE). The position plays a key role in delivering prioritized enhancements, sustaining production operations, and supporting future modernization initiatives.

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale software systems
• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Info Sphere MDM v11.x, including data models, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of MDM concepts and ability to maintain and enhance vendor‑built implementations
• 8+ years of Java/J2EE experience, including REST and SOAP services, with strong production support skills
• 5+ years of Linux/Unix experience, including command‑line operations, log analysis, and system troubleshooting
• Strong SQL skills in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Experience with Wild Fly application server deployments and operations
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka, including topic management, producers/consumers, and troubleshooting (Zookeeper/KRaft, Strimzi)
• Experience integrating Kafka with Wild Fly applications and IBM MDM
• Experience with batch processing frameworks and scheduled jobs
