IDR is seeking a Data Stage Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This client operates within the public sector, focusing on critical data integration projects for state agencies. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows to support data warehousing and reporting initiatives.
Responsibilities- Support and maintain parallel and sequence ETL jobs using IBM Info Sphere Data Stage.
- Extract, transform, and load data into a Medicaid data warehouse and decision support platform.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality and integration standards are met.
- Troubleshoot ETL job failures, resolve data issues, and optimize performance of data pipelines.
- Create technical specifications, update data mapping, and support production workflows to ensure timely data loads.
- Expert-level experience with IBM Info Sphere Data Stage, including building, optimizing, and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
- Strong SQL proficiency, with the ability to write complex queries, validate transformations, and tune performance across large datasets.
- Hands‑on Linux/Unix shell scripting experience for automation, file management, and job orchestration.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts, including source‑to‑target mapping and data modeling.
- Proven ability to support, monitor, and troubleshoot production ETL workflows, resolving data load failures and performance issues.
