Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst 6 to analyze business requirements, evaluate existing IT systems, and recommend solutions to improve system performance and business processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience, strong analytical skills, and at least five years of proficiency with Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, operational procedures, and existing information systems.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Identify system gaps, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend improvements.
- Utilize Azure Dev Ops (ADO) to manage requirements, tasks, defects, and project activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, process flows, diagrams, reports, and system specifications.
- Coordinate with developers, testers, business users, and technical teams.
- Support system testing, implementation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Evaluate system capabilities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the system development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of IT experience in systems analysis or related technical roles.
- 5+ years of Azure Dev Ops (ADO) proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, systems analysis, and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Work Arrangement – Mandatory
- Hybrid position requiring on-site work every Wednesday and Thursday.
- Candidates must reside within 90 miles of Lansing, Michigan, at the time of submission.
- Candidates must be available for the required on-site schedule from the start of the assignment.
Interview Process
One round of virtual interview via Microsoft Teams. Video participation is required, and candidates must be prepared to share their screen if requested.
