Overview
As a staff level attorney, the incumbent handles legal assignments that have significant impact on cases involving child support. Under the supervision of the Division Chief and the First Assistant, reviews warrant requests, approves warrants, search warrants, investigative subpoenas, MiCSES records, child support payment records, investigative reports, credit reports, internet-based asset searches, drafts motions, responsive pleadings, drafts formal and informal legal opinions, and provides day-to-day legal representation for the People of the State of Michigan.
Includes extensive driving and frequent court appearances including Probable Cause Conferences, Preliminary Examinations, Pretrials, Hearings, and Trials.
Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law.

Four years of post-bar admission legal experience.
Membership in good standing in the Michigan State Bar
