Operations Manager

Location:

East Lansing, MI (Office-based)

Salary: $60,000 per year

The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing quality concepts throughout operational processes to make continuous improvements; supervising records center/vault operations and delivery service; maintaining proper staffing; and reaching specific operational benchmarks.

• Personnel Management – Hire, train, enforce policies, ensure staffing.
• Quality Tracking and Improvement – Work with VP and Director to improve quality program.
• Forecast Requirements – Budget control, reporting, corrective actions.
• Facilities/Equipment Maintenance – Maintain clean facilities, vehicle/equipment maintenance, rack space control.
• Inventory Control – Daily records center/vault operations, audit paperwork, reconcile inventories, supervise bay audits.
• Customer Service – Provide courteous, attentive service; professional image.

• Problem solving skills.
• Experience implementing quality concepts in a service industry.

• Willing to take responsibility for daily operations even if personal sacrifices required.
• Willing and able to do physical work when necessary.
• Commitment to key leadership in disaster recovery environment and embracing unique requirements of servicing internal and external customers.

Must tolerate heat in summer and cold in winter.

Stand/walk regularly; sometimes sit, climb, stoop, kneel; lift 10-50 lbs; regular talking, hearing, reading; accurate order filling.

• Supervisory experience (3-5 years preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and background check.
• High school diploma.
• Forklift certification.
• Must pass drug screen.
