** What You Will Do
** Pratt & Whitney Auto Air is the Raytheon Technologies composite manufacturing center of excellence for aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair Operations (MRO) products, and is a sourced supplier on several new engine programs with noteworthy growth in the coming years.
* Cutting, sizing, and measuring state of the art composite materials in accordance with process sheet instructions.
* Disassembly and assembly of aircraft components.
* Manipulating state of the art materials by stretching and heating to secure material to form molds.
* Performing composite and metal fabrication as well as finishing work within extremely tight tolerances to achieve required quality requirements.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical data.
* Must be able to work any shift, including first, second, third, and/or weekends.
* Possess basic computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* This position is for 2nd shift. Hours are Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Bachelor’s degree
* 3 months experience in manufacturing environment or completed A&P certification.
* 3 months experience with body work and painting, machine metal and hand tools or with composite materials, including fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar
* 3 months experience in welding and electronics
