Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance of equipment and facilities. This role involves planning and scheduling maintenance activities, leading the maintenance team and ensuring safety.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily presence on the plant floor.
• Communicating daily maintenance schedules.
• Ensuring completion of preventive maintenance.
• Maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Maintaining long-term maintenance plans.
• Monitoring maintenance costs.
• Managing spare parts inventory and planning for new equipment setups.
• Procuring necessary items and managing inventory.
• Planning and providing training sessions.
• Annual performance reviews for team members.
• Participating in production meetings and budget planning.
• Completing projects within deadlines.
• Enforcing safety regulations.
• Participating in safety committees and conducting audits.
• Addressing safety issues and training staff on risk assessment.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a leadership role and in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience supervising an industrial maintenance team.
• Mechanical skills, including electrical, pipe fitting and fabrication and heat treatment is a plus.

Skills needed:

• Proficient in planning and overseeing maintenance programs.
• Skilled in interpreting electrical blueprints and working with PLCs.
• Well-versed in machinery, tools, and adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent critical thinking abilities and adept at managing time effectively.
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office suite.
• Capable of standing, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Competent in using hand tools and various equipment.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl occasionally.
• Comfortable working at a desk and walking around the plant.
• Work in a manufacturing plant with some computer work.
• Exposure to noise and hazardous materials.
• Availability to work any shift, including weekends and overtime.
