*** This role follows an onsite hybrid model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration. The position will be located in Lansing, MI or Lexington, KY.

* Job Summary:

** To encompass Production Planning team member management and ensuring the timely replenishment of NEOGEN manufactured sub-assemblies, outside processing services and finished goods. This position is also responsible for maintenance and review of proper levels of safety stocks, finished good inventory levels, and maintaining the integrity of existing Bill of Materials.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Oversees production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
* Experience with SAP, MRP, ERP II, Inventory, Production Scheduling, Capacity planning and perpetual inventory management is essential
* Typically incumbents would be responsible for performance reviews, pay reviews, and may have hire/fire decision making authority.
* Manage Production Planning team members, including annual assessments
* Develop and execute annual Department budget, including staffing, capital, and operating expenses
* Develop, revise, execute and maintain SOP’s, and training manual for Department including administration of Corporate policies and adherence to by team members.
* Facilitate Production update meetings, and interface with internal Departments on material throughput
* Run MRP per established schedules and analyze data to determine accuracy, completeness and required actions.
* Prepare and present metrics, reports, and analysis of Department data as required
* Management of all Bill of Materials, and Item masters within MRP system
** Qualifications and Experience
*** Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of direct experience or combination of education and experience.
* Strengths in SAP knowledge, MRP systems, Inventory management, capacity planning in an ISO/FDA or similarly regulated biologics manufacturing environment.
