Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

+ Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.

+ Troubleshooting electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.

+ Performing equipment installation, PMs, and completing assigned projects.

** Duties and Responsibilities*
* + The Maintenance Technician will be maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.

+ Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.

+ Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.

+ Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.

+ Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in eMaintenance System.

+ Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient.

+ Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc.)

+ Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.

+ Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.

+ Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor

+ Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.

+ Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift

+ Excellent attendance and steady work history.

** Experience and Education Requirements*
* + 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.

+ Industrial automotive experience (Preferred).

+ Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (Preferred).

+ High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred).

Physical Requirements *
* + The Maintenance Technician must be able to work on 2nd shift (
** Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 10:00pm** ).

+ Ability to lift 30lbs.

+ Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder.

+ Ability to safely work with Power Tools.

+ Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production.

+ Bending, Pushing, & Pulling.
