Manufacturing Supervisor
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Shift: 1st
Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role leads production employees, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily manufacturing operations and production staff
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
- Meet production schedules, labor targets, and efficiency goals
- Coach, train, and develop hourly employees
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues
- Track and report production metrics and documentation
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP a plus)
